How Good is the Changan CS75 Plus?
Changan has introduced the fourth generation of its popular SUV model, the CS75 Plus. The updated model is priced at approximately $17,750 for the Chinese market.
The new CS75 Plus has undergone significant changes in both exterior and interior design. From the outside, it features large headlights, a parallel grille, and sharp lines that reflect Changan’s new design language. With a length of 4,700 mm and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, the vehicle also offers a spacious interior.
Inside, the cockpit design is inspired by the Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen. It includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch passenger display, promising a fully digital experience for both the driver and passengers.
Among the engine options is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 189 horsepower. A more powerful 2.0-liter engine option is also expected. Power is transmitted through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The new CS75 Plus is also assertive in terms of safety, equipped with advanced features such as adaptive cruise control and an autonomous parking assistant. With the revamped CS75 Plus, Changan aims to maintain its competitiveness in China’s challenging SUV market.
